As we further our quest to bring Mclaren Vale to Ascot Vale this wine has always been one of our favourites hands down and we're stoked to have this on offer.
With a resounding 93/100 from Qvine Review saying "This my best buy Grenache find of the trip. So much going on and lip smacking delicious" this crosses many paths of desire and it is indeed a real lip smacker. We love it!
From Sam Geddes this is another cracking Seldom Inn wine and the brightness of the fruit weight in this wine is truly one of its best characters. The elegant and lifted floral juicy texture is from the carbonic maturation of the Grenache portion. This particular style of winemaking creates soft juicy tannins that are ready and full of drinking character. The majority of the Grenache was aged in stainless steel to retain it's vibrant fruity flavour while the Mourvèdre and Shiraz was aged in large French oak Puncheons.
The results was a vibe juicy Grenache to add delicate and pretty fruit notes and the Mourvèdre and Shiraz to bring the depth and deep savoury notes.
It is summer delicious and and perfect with red and white meat, and of course if you want a strikeout also brilliant on its own. Yumo!
