About us at ValeVino
Born out of Covid lockdown over a garden fence ValeVino is the brainchild of neighbours Vince and Mark. Unable to leave home
we fashioned a small social gathering space at our garden fence where we gathered, chatted, shared the odd drink with each other and generally put the world to rights.
Vince has worked extensively in the international wine trade for over 25 years. With an envious cellar and relationships that spread across most Australian wine makers during those long weeks and months of lockdown there were many different wines presented for an evening's tasting. Mark on the other hand is simply a keen enthusiast and always looking to grow the community spirit would share a few bottles from his collection with some of the neighbours.
It was this connection with the enthusiasm from both and a desire to bring what we were able to share over our fence to the broader local to Ascot Vale community that ValeVino was born.
The deals we offer are unique and represent we believe excellent value for the price and quality. The business model we work to is really skinny i.e. we sell by the case to get you the best price and we can reduce your costs doing this including we offer free local next day delivery, by ourselves meaning we offer the best prices anywhere for what we sell.
All deals are limited and it’s definitely first come first served. All orders are also hand delivered free of charge by either Vince or Mark, or if you are really lucky then you'll get both of us.
We also want to give back to our local community. To do this we will be donating 8% of our profit, the equivalent of 1 bottle per 12 bottle case back to local good causes. Any suggestions you may have about who we can direct this to please let us know,
And as to quality, this is hugely important. If you are not happy then we will come and collect the case and happily refund your money.
